Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of human factors in members of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and examines the method of its implementation in the methodology of training. The work of firefighters is one of the most risky professions, where human failure is a constant threat. At present, however, the concept of training in the field of human factors is completely missing in this profession. The work is divided into theoretical and methodological part. The theoretical part analyzes the issues of human factors, related psychohygiene and lifestyle. Furthermore, the work focuses on the psychological aspect of firefighters, evaluates the current state of this topic in the training of members of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and for inspiration compares and describes the methodology of human factors in aviation. The methodological part comes with an evaluation of the findings, an analysis of respondents' statements and a proposal of current topics for the potential methodology of firefighters' training.
