Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map the service injuries of the members of the Fire Rescue Service of the Moravian-Silesian Region in the period 2018 - 2022, with a distinction between injuries in operational and organizational management. This work includes categorisation occupational injuries according to the severity of the injury and the mechanism of injury. Further, this thesis focuses on the causes and sources of injuries, types of injuries, body parts injured, activities in which the injury occurred along with the average length of service injury. This thesis also deals with the recording of occupational injuries, which includes the injury book and the injury record. In relation to the recording of service injuries, this bachelor thesis also addresses the issue of error rate in the injury record along with the proposal of measures to reduce the error rate. The bachelor thesis includes a chapter on ensuring the availability of the shift and the funds spent. The bachelor thesis concludes with suggestions for measures to reduce the accident rate.
