Financování sociálních služeb v Domově pro seniory Radkova Lhota

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of financing and economy of a social service facility, Domov pro seniory Radkova Lhota (Radkova Lhota Home for the Elderly). The first chapter focuses on financing of social service work in the Czech Republic with special emphasis on legal entities that provide services to the home for the elderly instituted by the region. Attention will also be given to definition of basic concepts, for example “typology of social services“ and not least, their nomothetic determination will be mentioned. The next part of the diploma thesis focuses on the economy of the allowance organization, while the key part of the thesis will be the funding of the allowance organization itself. In this diploma thesis, I will hypothesize that the select organization has 40 000 000 CZK at their disposal for providing social services and to cover expenses. The analysis covers the years 2005-2009. During the analysis process, expenses and revenues of the organization will be construed. For better transparency, the expenses and revenues will be supplemented by percentage rates relating to the given foundations (total expenses, total revenues). A part of this diploma thesis is also a proposal of measures for improvement of economic conditions for the delivery of social services in the above-mentioned facility.
