Abstract
This Master's thesis focuses on testing and monitoring the degradation of mechanical properties of steel materials used in the production of external parts of automotive bodies. The introductory part of the thesis will describe stamping technology (or deep drawing technology), provide an overview of modern steel materials utilized in the automotive industry, and subsequently, the thesis will be dedicated to the testing methodologies for mechanical properties and a comparative analysis of the acquired values.
