Tvorba virtuálního kokpitu vozidla s využitím platformy LabVIEW

Abstract

The objective of this bachelor thesis is creation of a virtual cockpit of a vehicle using graphical development environment LabVIEW and subsequent connection of the cockpit to hardware from real vehicle as support of the teaching of in-vehicle data transmission technologies at the department. In the theoretical part, the knowledge and principles necessary for the realization of the bachelor thesis are described. In this case, this included knowledge of the principles of programming in LabVIEW, the wiring and principle of operation of the CAN bus and the basic characteristics of the Arduino, a microcontroller that is used as a converter in the communication between computer running the virtual cockpit program and the dashboard from the real vehicle. The practical part of the thesis focus on the description of design procedure and subsequent implementation of the virtual cockpit, together with the procedures and algorithms used to connect it to the instrument panel from the vehicle.
