Abstract

Persons with disabilities need the labor market increased protection. Their employment is legally obliged to all medium and large businesses. My thesis deals with the employment of disabled people in the Czech production cooperatives which are members of the Federation of Czech and Moravian Production Cooperatives. It gives notice of different kinds of employment grants and benefits for disabled people. It deals with cooperatives disabled projects under the union support and which advertising mediums are used. Current activities of one of the unions interest cooperatives – Department of production cooperatives disabled is analyzed. In my thesis a more effective union action in relation to the employment of disabled is proposed. The conclusion of the thesis determines the advantages and disadvantages of employing such persons and suggests possible improvements.
