Abstract

The theme of the work is reinforced concrete skeleton in undermined areas with respect to seismic loads. The content of this paper is a design of industrial rental building of monolithic reinforced concrete in Ostrava Poruba. The skeletal system supporting structure is designed according to standards CSN 73 0039, EN 1991, EN 1992 and EN 1998th. Introduction is dedicated to the object specification, geological survey and outline of seismic and undermining issues. Load calculation, assessment of underlying soil and the proposal and assessment of the reinforced concrete elements to limit states is contained in the central part of the work. In conclusion the work includes an economic comparison of the current design of concrete structures with the design of structures resistant to earthquakes.
