Možnosti zlepšení biologické rozložitelnosti lignocelulózového odpadu

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis examines the improvement of the biodegradability of lignocellulosic waste using photochemical pretreatment methods to increase biogas production during anaerobic anaerobic digestion. Coffee grounds were selected as the model substrate and subjected to photolysis and photocatalysis. As part of the experiment, chemical and microscopic analyses were performed, and the biochemical methane potential was determined as the output of the anaerobic anaerobic digestion process. The results demonstrated disruption of the material’s structure and a reduction in lignin content, with the most significant effect observed in the photocatalytic pretreatment. The highest biogas production reached 0,682 m3N∙kgVS-1 and methane production 0,379 m3N∙kgVS-1 for the photocatalytically pretreated sample. The study confirms the potential of photochemical methods for more efficient energy utilization of waste.
