Návrh bezpečnostních opatření proti aktivnímu útočníkovi ve vybraném objektu

Abstract

This bachelor thesis analyzes the preparedness of a selected facility for a potential active attacker threat and proposes adequate security measures. The theoretical part deals with the issue of soft targets, the typology of active shooters, and summarizes general procedures for increasing overall resilience. The practical part focuses on the implementation of a scenario-based exercise with the staff of the selected facility (practicing the "Run – Hide – Fight" procedures). Through the evaluation of this exercise and risk analysis (Ishikawa diagram, CARVER method), the main vulnerabilities of the facility were identified. These primarily include incorrect employee reactions, the possibility of granting access to an unauthorized person, glass doors, and the absence of a panic button. The output of the thesis is a comprehensive set of specific measures to eliminate these shortcomings, ranging from technical modifications to regular training, which will enhance the overall security of the examined facility.
