Abstract
The aim of this thesis is the analysis evaluation the influence of tundish preparation for the final hydrogen occurrence in the steel during the continuous casting technology. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of actual foreign literature, attention is focused to the mechanism of dissolution of hydrogen in liquid steel, detection and quantification its resources, its effect on increasing hydrogen occurrence especially in continuous casting tundishes and possible ways to its reduction. The foundation of the research part of the thesis are extensive measurement of the hydrogen occurrence of the liquid steel in tundishes ZPO no.1 in TŽ, a.s. by probes Hydris and measurement and quantification of the key influences affecting the final content of the gas in the melt steel. An integral part of the follow-up tests is the evaluation tests by using methods of descriptive and mathematic statistics, especially on the basis of statistical modeling – linear regression and nonlinear regression models (Artificial Neural Networks). At the end of the thesis are presented obtained results.
