Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on the diagnosis of a small company in the service sector. The theoretical part includes the basic concepts related to company diagnostics, financial analysis and their indicators. The following part presents the company STK XY s. r. o., where the selected methods for evaluating its financial health were applied. The author used ratio indicators such as liquidity, profitability and activity indicators to evaluate the company's financial situation. Bankruptcy and creditworthiness models were also used. The conclusion of the work is an evaluation of the overall financial situation and recommendations for the analyzed company. According to the forecast, the company is doing very well and is gradually entering the zone of prosperity. Its strengths include well-developed marketing, promotion and communication. What the company should work on is the company's liquidity.
