Abstract
The subject of this thesis is to design the implementation of the Total Productive Maintenance at the company VOP CZ, s.p. using the evaluation of the current state of equipment maintenance. As defined in this paper, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a structured equipment-centric continuous improvement process that strives to optimize production effectiveness by identifying and eliminating equipment and production efficiency losses throughout the active team based participation of employees across all levels of the operational hierarchy. The concept, goals and the principles of the method are defined at the theoretical part of the thesis, as well as the supporting pillars, recommended ways of implementation and its benefits. The main part of the thesis is comprised of the maintenance current state analysis, its deficiency and characteristic way of implementation. An original six-steps methodology is set up, selected actions are put into practice and anticipated benefits for the company are estimated.
