Komparace vybraných euroregionů České republiky a jejich význam v přeshraniční spolupráci

Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the comparison of selected euroregions of the Czech Republic and their importance in cross-border cooperation. The issue of cross-border cooperation is currently an aspect that particularly affects people living in border areas, areas that lie close to the borders with neighboring states. The main objective of cross-border cooperation is to reduce the negative impact of borders as administrative, legal and physical barriers, to solve the common problems and to utilize the idle potential. The aim of bachelor thesis is to analyze and compare the euroregions in the Czech Republic and evaluate their role in cross-border cooperation on the basis of project activities. From the analysis results that euroregions play an important role in cross-border cooperation. Especially, they eliminate the social, economic and cultural barriers between the border regions and they are also major beneficiaries of EU subsidies.
