Abstract

This Bachelor thesis deals with improvement of corporate competitiveness using modern communication technologies and information society. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter describes modern communication technologies and information society throught the introducition of teleworking. The second chapter is devoted to promoting the information society in the European Union. The third chapter deals with the practice of teleworking. It includes description of the project „Teleworking“, research in the area of teleworking, and case study „Savings and benefits of teleworking“.
