Abstract

Abstract Within the framework of the thesis, coke samples from selected coal types were tested. Testing was carried out by MICUM, ASTM strength and CRI reactivity tests. Chapter three describes each test in more detail. In the practical part, the numbers of rotations and spreads are compared on the effect of quality. Comparison of CRI,CSR parameters with coke from SHO and PKZ furnace was done. The measured results of reactivity and strength of coke after reaction with CO2 are used in coke oven and blast furnace operations. The final section contains an evaluation of the results and the contribution to practice.
