The use of simulation technologies in the training of fire brigades

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the description of the use of simulation technologies in the training of fire protection units in selected countries of the world and the description of the function of selected virtual reality devices, which are applicable without significant modifications for training members of fire protection units in the conditions of selected countries. In the first part, virtual reality is described and defined. In the second part of the thesis the function of virtual reality on its user is described. In the third part, the hardware and software used for training is described. In the next part, each country is described, how their firefighters are trained and how this technology is used. And the last part shortly summarizes the use in the Czech Republic for comparison.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá popisem využití simulačních technologií při výcviku jednotek požární ochrany ve vybraných zemích světa a popis funkce vybraných zařízení virtuální reality, která jsou bez výrazných úprav použitelná pro výcvik členů jednotek požární ochrany v podmínkách vybraných zemí. V první části je popsána a definována virtuální realita. Ve druhé části práce je popsána funkce virtuální reality na jejího uživatele. Ve třetí části je popsán hardware a software používaný pro výcvik. V další části jsou popsány jednotlivé země, jak probíhá výcvik jejich hasičů a jak je tato technologie využívána. A poslední část krátce shrnuje využití v české republice pro porovnání.
