Abstract
The thesis is focused on the physical modeling of technological conditions of refining metal in the ladle. The first part describes the technology of refining aluminum melts, which includes methods such as refining itself and melt degassing by various methods. The second part describes the basic principle of physical modeling, including similarities of two systems, dimensional parameters and similarity criteria that are indispensable in the modeling process. In the third part is presented an analysis of literary knowledge focused on experience in the domain of physical modeling of degassing melt by means of different types of rotor and setting of technological conditions representing rotor shape, rotor speed, depth of immersion of the rotor, inertia gas injection intensity or using breakwater. The last part deals with the evaluation of methodical laboratory experiments of the influence of different types of rotors and the operating conditions on the melt degassing by means of physical and knowledge about the influence of relevant degassing refining parameters.
