Abstract
The subject of this diploma thesis is the design and assessment of the bearing structure of the steel-concrete bridge as an alternative solution of the load-bearing structure of pre-stressed concrete. The bearing structure is made of steel beams grade S420, and concrete composite slabs grade C30 / 37. Internal forces were determined by manual calculation with partial use of Scia Engineer, whilst the following evaluations of the structure have been performed using Microsoft Excel. The drawings were drawn in AutoCAD software.
