Abstract

The bachelor degree thesis summarizes the characteristics of the Moravian-Silesian Region in terms of geographical, climatic and demographic conditions and their influence on the deployment of fire brigades. It includes the current knowledge of the state of the JPO area coverage system, which sets the optimal area coverage of forces and resources for managing extraordinary events. The thesis also provides an overview of fire equipment, with regard to vehicles on Tatra chassis, used by the Fire Rescue Service of the Moravian-Silesian Region. The subject is the TerrNo1, Terrra and Force model series, their structural similarities and differences, and a list of tactical and technical data of this equipment. The practical part is devoted to measuring, comparing and evaluating selected characteristics for comparing the ergonomics of the working space in the cabins of those models with subsequent recommendations for the acquisition of new equipment.
