Abstract

Diploma work’s object is project of Moravia-Silesian building for art and culture, situated on square of Dr. E. Beneš in Ostrava. This building is designed with respect to urban structures, current city blocks and contemporary requierements. It was necessary to take into consideration city centre and near-by historical buildings. This object contain musical – theatre hall with variable space and requisite facilities, small hall, which can be used as recording studio, learning rooms for lifetime education, accomodation capacities and commercial place. It was necessary to project corresponding parking places, which is solved by underground parking capacities.
