Abstract
The theoretical part is focused to the influence of thermomechanical and metallurgical factors during hot rolling. The practical part of the work is describing the rolling mill and circular shapes by the conventional rolling of diameters 75 and 80 mm rolled on light section line in Třinecké železárny, a. s. The sections were rolled from structural steel steel of sign S355, which were used as inputs blooms of CCM No. 2 (continuous casting machine No. 2). Rolling is carried out on groove rolls. The results of mechanical properties (ultimate tensile strength, yield strength, shrinkage, elongation) were used for evaluation of results. Another determined factor was the grain size.
