Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the common trade policy of the European Union, including tools and principles that govern the policy. Next chapter describe the rules of the common trade policy and approach the main instruments of a trade policy in terms of general protective measures for import into the EU. The content of other chapters is the regulation of imports of certain commodities and description and evaluation of protective measures in relation to dumping. In conclusion, this work is that despite the inconsistent treatment of trade protectionist measures and some interventions, the EU has an effective system of protective measures applied to imports of products within member states.
