Abstract
Our thesis focuses on finding out the extent to which present secondary students are satisfied with provided services and consequently formulates individual recommendations and suggestions that will contribute to increased students´ contentment with the Secondary Vocational School of Trade and Services in Čadca.
Our thesis is based on a theory of school marketing and a theory of a customer’s satisfaction measurement. The theory of satisfaction measurement is used in my measuring of students´ satisfaction with the secondary school. Realizing this research I took into account secondary data, too, but I concentrated especially on collecting primary data gained through a marketing research.
Besides paying attention to analysis of marketing surrounding of the school, marketing mix of the school and SWOT analysis, the main attention was paid to marketing research results to be able to suggest specific recommendations and stipulate methods how to reach the improvement.
On the basis of obtained information I suggested recommendations that will contribute to the improvement of schooling system, more effective use of human potential, creation of the school image, and finally to better satisfaction of secondary students.
