Abstract

This bachelor's thesis deals with my professional experience in IT4Innovations national supercomputing center. During my professional experience I utilized my knowledges of database systems, programming in the Python language and developing a functional testing. The thesis is divided into three parts, related to an information system development. The first part dealt with a database layer, especially with the database system service. In the next part I studied an application layer, where I was working on the data processing logic. The data were related to the database system. In the last part of my professional experience I was introduced to functional testing of the presentation layer, which means the development of functional tests for a web application. The result of my work was an effort to make the developmental part of information system independent of production part, and make its functional control automatic. From my point of view this task has been fulfilled.
