Bezpečnostní aspekty odborné přípravy humanitárních pracovníků

Abstract

The diploma thesis is structured into two parts. The first part is an introduction to the issues examined, explaining the basic concepts related to humanitarian workers and their activities. It further describes the current situation in the field of security and presents an increasing global statistics of security incidents. The second part of the thesis deals with the identification of risks that threaten aid workers of nongovernmental organizations working in international missions and research in this area. The aim of this work is to identify risks associated with the protection of the Czech humanitarian workers and to assess the adequacy of their security training.
