Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with tourism potential assesment within the administrative territory of the municipality with extended power Třinec. At first there are mentioned existing theoretical attitudes of tourism potential assesment. Next part is devoted to the conditions of location and realization for tourism in the chosen area. Following chapter include description and aplication both the usual method for tourism potential assesment and own methodology using GIS tools. In the end there are compared both methods for tourism potential assesment, evaluation of results and there is mentioned better of the methods.
