Abstract
This bachelor thesis focuses on the role of folklore music and dance within the scope of tourism in the Dolňácko area around Uherské Hradiště. The first part of this thesis comprises the description of ethnographic definitions of the Uherské Hradiště area as such (the so called Dolňácko area) with closer view of the history of ethnographic music and dance folklore within the region. The second part of this thesis provides an analysis of the music and dance folklore within the Dolňácko area from three different points of view – folklore ensembles, cymbal bands and ethnographic festivals. The analysis is focused on assessment of the range and promotion of products within the tourism industry in this area, based on ethnographic events and folklore, further options for development of tourism within the Dolňácko area and determination of a new product.
