BERAN, Pavel. Zhe influence of space and character developments on the perception of safety among residents. Dissertation´s thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – TU of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engeneering, 2015. 60 pages. The aim of this thesis was to determine the perception of a sense of security of the population in selected locations using a questionnaire and the questionnaire solutions. Through analysis of the structure of urban development, socio-demographic factors and factor in crime I compared the selected circuits and determine the possible causes of crime levels.
