Storage and inventories are an essential part of the logistics system of the company. It is important that in this system, everything worked as it should, then he can be successful without the company would be faced with unnecessary costs. Effective inventory management can make is saving money that would otherwise be bound in the stocks. The aim of this thesis is the analysis of the selected company stock, assess the current state of management and ways to improve, which could be beneficial for the company. It focuses primarily on stock control, handling and storage of stock in the company. The work is divided into two main sections. The first part is theoretical and the other part is the practical part. The first part outlines the theoretical basis of the work, which are decisive for the practical part. Introduction The practical part is devoted to information about the chosen company and describe its management. The practical conclusion of the analysis and evaluation methods and are subsequently outlined specific proposals and recommendations that could be beneficial for the company.
