Abstract
The bachelor's thesis describes the problematic of golf resort management. Its first part is focused on the history of golf, its origins in Europe and also in our country, followed by the general description of current golf resorts and characteristics of the Czech Golf Federation as the main managing authority of Czech amateur and professional golf. At the same time, there are described some main rules of golf and the system of the game. The work also defines basic economic analyzes, which are then used in the practical part for measuring the current level of management in golf resort Šilheřovice. The practical part begins with a description of the golf resort Šilheřovice including its structures and management. The following is a description of its strengths and weaknesses, including an evaluation of possible innovations. For the purpose of the work, information from other golf resorts was ascertained and subsequently used as well. The results of the research revealed several possibilities for improvement. One of them was then selected, namely the acquisition of a golf buggy fleet for offering their renting to the players. The last part of the work contains economic calculations acquisition and operation of these buggies and determines the expected returns of this investment, but also its other positives for the golf resort. In conclusion, it was found that the acquisition of a buggy, under conditions described in this work can be recommended.
