Abstract

This essay deals with modern methods and approaches in management. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes some of the advanced methods and approaches that companies are currently applied to achieve effective results and strategic position in the market. These are benchmarking, franchising, outplacement, outsourcing and offshoring, as well as mentoring and coaching. In addition to these approaches is more advanced in the theoretical part of the work also characterized by management, including its historical origins. Furthermore, this work concerns the typical load manager, which ranks the need for planning, decision making, staffing, leadership, including their motivation and ultimately control. The practical part focuses on human resource management, which is a concrete example of applying the modern approach in this area, which is coaching. Using this approach in the management of people with a manager who has undergone training, coaching, trying to streamline the performance of new employees. Coaching is a very good approach in the management of employees, by which organizations can achieve more effective targets on the ground was also recommended as a good tool in the management of human resources for modern businesses.
