Abstract

This thesis deals with the design and subsequent creation of a printed circuit board that will function as a universal converter. Part of the work will also be the design of the analog part, which will allow us to carry out the conversion and processing of analog and digital signals. In the first part of the work we introduce the development board C2000 LaunchXL-F28379, which will be used as the control unit. Following that, is a theoretical analysis that wil clarify and explain the issue of the functions of the boost converter , buck converter and inverter, which our universal converter will combine together. The design part of the universal converter consists of detailed calculations of all the necessary parts of the circuit, such as an example of calculating the parameters of a four-switch buck and boost converter, driver design, voltage and current measurement design, and more. The design continues with an explanation of the analog part and the subsequent design and creation of a printed circuit board that connects all parts of the work together. At the end, calculations, simulations and measurements of the universal converter are carried out, the results of which are compared and evaluated. The work also contains a summary of three completed protocols for testing and measurement with our finished board.
