Abstract
The theme of the thesis is the labour market and employment policy in the Olomouc Region. The work consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the labour market, demand for work, labour supply, labour market balance, employment in general. The practical part deals with the analysis of the labour market in the Olomouc Region. The last part of the work contains proposals and recommendations, evaluation of employment policy in the Olomouc Region
