Abstract
Thesis evaluates the motivation, satisfaction and fluctuation of employees of Nový Jičín Municipality. Terms of motivation, satisfaction and fluctuation are introduced in the theoretical part of the thesis. Then the main factors that influence them are identified. Practical part describes the municipality and its structure, personal policy and defines the role of trade union. Based on the questionnaire results drawbacks in the area of working conditions, remuneration and communication were found. Questionnaire results were confirmed by the face-to-face interview with the human resource department employee. Proposals and recommendations that could improve employees’ motivation and satisfaction and therefore decrease the employees’ fluctuation were formulated based on the found results.
