Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on exploring the possibilities of using virtual reality in the training of fire rescue units of the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to find out the possible use of virtual reality for the training of units of the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic. The thesis focuses on the introduction of the main topic, namely virtual reality, followed by a possible analysis of the use of virtual reality in the Czech Republic and abroad, the proposal and possible evaluation of the use of virtual reality for the training of fire protection units. For the purpose of the research, a questionnaire was sent out to find out what view firefighters have on virtual reality and its possible use for training fire protection units. In the conclusion of the thesis, the financial requirements of virtual reality are mentioned. My motivation for choosing this topic was personal curiosity and the topicality of the issue, as well as the potential for innovation in firefighter training through modern technology.
