Abstract
The theme of this thesis is to prepare an overview of micro-cogeneration units based on fuel cells and their applications in residential homes.
The first part describes the main types of fuel cells and analysis of individual species. The second part is focused on the overview of micro CHP units based on fuel cells. The third part solves the calculation of the energy balance of the house. The fourth part deals with the design and wiring cogeneration units Vitovalor-300P in the house. The last section is devoted to economic evaluation and return on investment if the CHP unit will be installed in the house.
