Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on hardware and software realization of ECG logger. The logger using energy harvesting methods for powering and also the energy consumption is optimized. The thesis is divided into several sections. The introductory part describes issues of measuring heart activity. The next sections deal with NFC technology and energy harvesting. Subsequently, a survey of current solutions for ECG recording is demonstrated. The practical part contains a detailed description of the hardware, firmware and software design. In the last section the logger is made, firmware and software are implemented. At the end of the thesis ECG logger is tested and evaluated.
