Abstract

The Bachelor thesis is focusing on solving problems and proposing solutions of failures on railway safety equipment in mining rail transport of the company SEV.EN Energy. Several common failures were chosen as an example for the practical part. The analysis contains a recognition of failures, under what conditions they occur, and a possible ways to solve them. Several standard methods and practical knowledge were used to solve the problem. The final part includes creating a design of modernization of selected type of equipment for the purpose of long-term elimination of the failures. And on the basis of previous projects evaluation of estimated financial aspects.
