Analýza možnosti využití CASE nástrojů v logistice

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce charakterizuje situaci a analyzuje možnosti konkrétní firmy zabývající se vývojem informačních systémů pro logistiku, kterou je společnost OLTIS Group a.s. Monitoruje reálné využití vybraného CASE nástroje, který byl dle požadavků managementu pořízen v roce 2007. Tento CASE nástroj nahradil do té doby používané méně efektivní nástroje. Cílem práce bylo sestavení podrobné analýzy pro výběr vhodného CASE nástroje na základě současných požadavků společnosti. Z výsledků této analýzy pak bylo vypracováno zhodnocení, zda se závěry analýz z let 2007 a 2012 shodují či nikoliv a jaké by bylo případné doporučení pro danou společnost. Vzhledem k tomu, že oblast logistiky i problematika CASE nástrojů jsou velmi komplexní obory, na které není možné pohlížet samostatně, ale pouze ve spojení s dalšími disciplínami, dílčím cílem této práce bylo sestavení podrobných, ale přitom ucelených teoretických východisek, která slouží jako výchozí bod pro korektní dosažení cíle.

This thesis describes and analyzes the situation, the possibility of a specific company engaged in the development of information systems for logistics, which is called OLTIS Group a.s. The thesis monitors the real usage of selected CASE tool, which was chosen according to the management requirements in 2007. The CASE tool has replaced earlier used less effective tools. The aim of this thesis is to build a detailed analysis for the selection of a suitable CASE tool based on the current requirements of the company. The results of this analysis were drawn up to assess whether the conclusions of the analysis from the years 2007 and 2012 coincide or not and what would be possible recommendations for the company. Given that the area of logistics and CASE tools issues are complex subjects that cannot be viewed separately, but only in conjunction with other disciplines, sub-goal of this work was to compile detailed, yet comprehensive theoretical background that serves as a starting point to meet the thesis targets correctly.
