Abstract

The Diploma thesis deals with the selection and education of employee in a selected company. The first part focuses on the theoretical knowledge gained from literature, which is applied in the selected company. The most important concepts from the field of personnel management are explained, specifically focused on the selection and education of the employees. The second part deals with the practical knowledge gained in the the selected company, which is headquartered in Budišov nad Budišovkou. Thanks to the combination of theoretical and practical knowledge, solutions have been proposed which lead to improvments, not only in personal work, but also to higher productivity gained by better education of employees.
