Abstract
The diploma thesis focuses on current issues in the field of communication with the visible spectrum of light in the aquatic environment. In the first part, which consists of three chapters, there is a detailed research on the topic of VLC, its standardization and underwater use. The second part of the thesis describes the measurement platform, its software and hardware parts. The last part of the diploma thesis is practical, where first an underwater LED transmitter was designed and manufactured, and then the quality of VLC transmission underwater was measured in both dynamic and static environments.
