Abstract

This thesis is devoted to problems of disinfection and quality of pool water baby pool SKJ Žatec Kouzelná rybka. The work is divided into two main parts, the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical part describes the water treatment technology in this pool, includes a literature review of possible by-products of water chlorination, which may in infants and toddlers, but not only for them, cause health problems. In the practical results have been summarized and conclusions of the experiment, which ran from 2007 to March 2013. There are answered questions as to the concentration of free chlorine is optimal for maintaining water quality and why it is important to minimize the amount dosed disinfectant agents. There are presented results of a study which was conducted in cooperation Regional Health and Public Health Institute in Usti nad Labem.
