Abstract
This thesis deals with different kinds of renewable energy sources. The first part describes basic sources of energy and subsequently analyses using them during the years 2004-2007 in the Czech Republic. It informs us about fulfilling of indicative aim of electricity production from renewable energy sources in harmony with the National programme. In the next part it describes in details using sun energy for warming water in a block of flats in Louny. It screens effectiveness of possible investment in solar system and shows the possibility of its future financing.
