Abstract

The presented Diploma thesis describes the complex aspects of mining on the 1st overburden cut in the location of the Bílina lignite quarry. The work will outline the complexity of mining in the direction of mining in the area with the occurrence of unexploded ordnance from the 2nd World War and in the other direction the mining of sticky materials and loess. The work evaluates the current technical condition of the K 10000 excavator and the justification for the end of the excavator's operation. The work will present a proposal for deploying the K2000 Excavator in the new conditions of the 1st cut. Following the termination of mining in the conditions of the 6th section of the lignite quarry. The aim of the diploma thesis is to propose the reconstruction and partial repairs of the Excavator K 2000 to the new conditions of the 1st overburden cut. and installation of back-up control due to mining in areas with the occurrence of unexploded ordnance of the K 2000 excavator. Part of the proposal is to ensure the logistics of the reconstruction and partial repair of the excavator, including the preparation of the assembly site and the transport of the excavator to the assembly site. At the end of the Diploma thesis, individual proposals will be evaluated in connection with the deployment of the K 2000 excavator in the new conditions of the 1st overburden section of the lignite quarry.
