Abstract

The aim of the thesis bachelor is to evaluate the position of people with disabilities in the labour market and suggest policy measures in frame of employment policy for improvement of their situation on labour market. The first part of the thesis focuses on the theoretical foundation of labour market, its causes, effects and types of unemployment. The second chapter defines disadvantaged groups and their problems in the labour market. The objective of the third chapter is to provide classification of people with disabilities and the level of unemployment in the Czech Republic. The fourth chapter of the thesis aims to define active labour market policy and tools for support of employment of people with disabilities. Results of surveys demonstrate that people with disabilities have to face a lot of problems while entering labour market and searching for employment. The level of unemployment of disabled people is higher than level of unemployment of people without disabilities. Therefore it is necessary to provide professional and psychological support and consultancy services to people with disabilities. Based on these conditions the thesis proposes suggestions and recommendation for improvement of employment of people with disabilities.
