Abstract

The thesis focuses on the conversion of the historical castle in Spišský Štiavnik with the aim of adapting this architectural monument for modern and functional use. It analyzes the historical development of the castle, emphasizes its architectural elements, and explores the cultural context. Simultaneously, it places a strong emphasis on respect for the original design and cultural value of the building. The thesis introduces specific proposals and recommendations for the successful transformation of the castle, which can serve as inspiration for preserving historical values in line with modern needs.
