Abstract
The contents of this bachelor thesis are the design and the realization of the new control unit for current two-quadrant DC converter. One part of the thesis is also the design and the realization of the new user interface for controlling converter. Purpose of the thesis is improvement teaching in subject Power Semiconductor Systems by enrichment converter with two-valued management, which is actually unfunctional. The best solution is the microcontroller control unit due to the need of communication with the user interface and multiple management modes. The algorithm for controlling program is based on requirements for controlling, user interface and compatibility with an actual power unit of converter and its excitation and the blocking circuits.
