Financování sportu Moravskoslezským krajem

Abstract

This Bachelor thesis focuses on financing of sport activities in the Moravian-Silesian region in the period between years 2011 and 2015. The theoretical part introduces concept issues of state subsidies to sport and explains key terms as well as importance of sport in society by means of professional literature search. It also introduces the legislative framework. Analysis in the practical part is based on data provided by the Department of Education, Youth and Sport at the Moravian-Silesian Regional Council and on information published on the Ministry of Finance websites. The aim of the work is to analyse funding of sport and evaluate achievements of targets set by the region.
