Abstract

The topic of this thesis is a marketing information system. The usage of marketing information systems is now quite common and necessary part of functioning of companies. These systems provide informations from various data sources both internal and external, which are important for rapid and well-timed conduct of the market. The Internet is a significant tool for obtaining informations timely. It provides necessary informations to the companies. Getting information in time ensures quality, preparedness, efficiency and maintain a healtly and balanced operation of company. This thesis includes characteristic of information systems, its effect on functioning of modern companies and describtion of processes, by which are obtaining data from different sources.
