Abstract
Diploma thesis presents the qualitative aspects of the organizational adaptation of the Czech Power Corporation Skupina ČEZ (i.e. Group CEZ) in years 2008-2010. Areas that impact organizational adaptability to highly demanding conditions of the entrepreneurial activities are subject matter of the thesis. The concepts and effectiveness of applied solutions is assessed. The level of the adaptation effectiveness of the analyzed organization is rated on the basis of accessible documents analysis method, interviews, and utilization of the author’s respective experiences that were gained from his long-time employment. Results of the organization adaptation analysis confirmed that managerial consideration paid to the problem is adequate. Some suggestions to increase the organization adaptation effectiveness are formulated in the thesis. Concerning the long-time aspect of this organization, all outputs of this work stress the importance of focusing on research and development, as well as on the new requirements of the customers, utilization of employees’ silent knowledge, interconnection with schools on the European level, and necessity to extend the current corporate culture, which is now focused mainly on performance, with the help of real model of pro-adaptation elements. We expect that when implementing this model in the company, it will evoke new level of confidence among employees and generate the new performance-adaptation culture.
